A busy day it is today for both baby Maishia and me. Our mummies brought us for a early morning trial class at Grace Kids for its Busy Buddies programme that starts at 9.15am. Mummy stood in the train all the way from Sembawang to Orchard station, slinging me in a new Ergo carrier, with a stroller and diaper bag in hand. Mummy was initially guilty about bringing the stroller during the peak hours but due to her weak back that resulted from a slip disc before she had me, she had no choice. But upon seeing the passengers not giving up seats to us, she had no regrets after all.
It was a discovery and learning time at Busy Buddies. Free play started with a lot of toys and rides lying around the big room. For hands-on activities, we made a magic wand that is related to the story telling of a evil witch through a puppet show. I tried watermelon during snack time. There's music session too where the teachers sang and played the guitar while the children danced. I love the bubble during the water play most of all.
After class, the mummies head to Ichiban Boshi for an early lunch. I fell asleep in my stroller after my milk feed. We next adjourned to Taka where Maishia had her delicious porridge brought from home while I had my lunch from the food court, a plate of rice with fresh fish and shrooms that cost $5.50.
Next, Auntie Ginette drove us to Go-Go Bambini for a fun-filled afternoon of climbing and running at the playground. And finally, a nice evening at Ben & Jerry's where I shared a waffle filled with M&Ms and colourful thousands and thousands with my dearest mummy. What a beautiful and memorable day!
