Forest Adventure
Frasers Centrepoint is bringing in the "Forest" to celebrate Children's Day! Wonder how tall YX is now as there is a height restriction of at least a 110cm. Think Ken will be very worried for his dear son's safety! LOL!

Let's Rock Elmo!
A big thank you to Leonny for the Let's Rock! Elmo toy giveaway! Leonny has won several blog awards and her photography is really good. Let’s Rock! Elmo is just newly launched in Singapore and is retailing at $129.90. The kids are so excited when I took Elmo out from the box. They can't wait to get their hands on it! Let's Rock! Elmo, from Hasbro, is a fun and engaging toy. Elmo tilts his head and laughs and sings. There are 6 different catchy rocking tunes. The toy comes along with a microphone, drumset and tambourine. You can purchase additional Let's Rock! accessories to make the fun last even longer! It also comes installed with 6 "AA" batteries which is rare for other electronic toys! Suitable from 18 month to 4 years old. YX had fun with it too though he's 4 and a half now. It's hilarious watching JE sings along with Elmo and started dancing to the catchy songs. Great toy from Hasbro!

Snow City & Science Centre
It's a family outing to the Snow City and Science Centre. Snow city was freezing cold. Look at us all geared up in winter wear. After play, YX cheeks turn rosy and JE had a shinny little nose!

Smurfs Meet & Greet
We decided to check out the Smurfs meet & greet at 7pm at Northpoint without high hopes of getting a pass for the photo taking session since it is already 6.15pm when we left the house. We reached at 6.40 and were so lucky to one of the last few (limited to 50 pax) to get a pass! What a Smurf day!

Paint a Smurf Event
We won ourselves a exclusive, closed-door Smurfs family event at Northpoint Shopping Mall. We along with other registered families get to paint a limited edition smurf figurine and we get to keep it! It was a great family bonding session. After the event, we head over to Swensen for our dinner and YX is the happiest of all cos he gets his ice-cream!

Happy Teachers' Day
Teachers' Day is now celebrated on the first Friday of September and Children's Day on the first Friday of October. It used to be 1 Sep and 1 Oct respectively.

The Play Dome
The kids had some fun visiting the PlayDome at the National Museum. The PlayDome is part of the Children's Season 2011 initiative partnered with Playeum, The Play Museum, to create a wonderful child-centered museum experience at level 3. There's a giant Kaleidoscope, Wayang play stage, dressing up as a wayang performer, as well as interaction with a 2 and a half D cinema footage.

YX's very own room
YX is 4 years plus now and yet there has been no window grills in the house. Even though we stay on the low floorings, I always fear leaving YX out of my sight. Now that there is another active toddler at home along with a playful boy, we finally got the grills up. 3 rooms and 1 living hall for $880. Next, is the painting of the room. We decided to diy instead and well, though it's tiring, there's also a sense of satisfaction after the job. $99 for two tubs of paint, rollers and painting tray. Next comes the furniture, that is, the wardrobe, super single bedframe and bed, all from Seahouse. That's another $818. Total renovation cost for this room: $1800
