Asian Civilisations Museum

We were at the "Magical Museum" Open House hosted in conjunction with the opening of a new exhibition - Congo River: Arts of Central Africa. The exhibition explores the artistic tradtions linked by the Congo. There's lots of activities that day such as free ice-cream, goodie bag, storytelling and congo drum performances.

Get a glimpse into the arts and traditions of the Congo this Christmas at the Asian Civilisations Museum. Featuring artefacts from Gabon, Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo, discover the connections between the works of art produced by the diverse populations of this region.

New Year’s Eve Party | 31 Dec 2010 | Friday | 5pm to 1am
Usher in 2011 at the Asian Civilisations Museum with free admission to the museum’s galleries and high-energy performances! Count down to the new year with fellow revelers along the Singapore River and catch a view of spectacular fireworks displays over the Marina Bay area.
